Understanding Print Preparation

From design to delivery, Wood Richardson people understand the printed item. Take packaging design as an example. We do lots! And we always make sure it doesn't just look good on screen, but that it actually works in practice.

Modern packaging is as much about engineering as graphic design, and only someone close to the print process can ‘see’ the finished job before it actually exists. We understand what is involved, what will work and what won’t. So you can be confident, whatever we are producing for you, it will do the job you need it to do.

Less complex items like leaflets and newsletters need technical preparation too, and we undertake critical production processes like the imposition of pages, and understand the importance of details, such as when a job needs the very highest quality of imagery (which is why our studio incorporates a super high resolution drum scanner).
